BirthO' mother, of sweet smiles
Your rosy cheeks mare ivory skin,
Like roses growing though winter frost.
And like the rose, gone before your time.

O' how tender your touch was,
During long winter nights,
The earth may be cold and barren,
But I was safe and warm in your womb

O' spring has come,
And stolen our nights of company
The earth may be bright and abuzz
But I am lonely without you.

O' how you screamed
O' but hear the larks sing
Your blood mares ivory skin
Like roses growing among sweet lily
Gone before your time
…
O' mother, where is your smile?
Gears in Motiondeus naturae creavit

But Nature's rebelling:
Rusting bridges,
Eroding fortresses,
Cracks are appearing,
Shoots growing,
Vines keeping closer,
Strangling him,
Suffocating him.

A gasp of air,
A bit of control,
One Step,
Forward then back,
Swing the sword,
He missed this.
His gears have gotten rusty,
Old and creaky,
But a bit of oil…
Ambergris is fitting,
And cogs are turning
Gears in motion again,
Find answers in patterns,
Of logic and reason

He see's it now,
Nature's mistake,
It's in her eyes,
Flight or fight?
Metal against flesh
An advantage over nature,
A way to fight back,
No longer rusty
No longer erod

Prize request for ~TakaraYuuki for winning one of the #TheNocturnals contests.
I promised her a traditional sketch of her OC, Cybelle but since I moved I no longer have access to a scanner, so this is actually a digital sketch :P Still, I rather like how it turned out.

Wow it's really awsome. I love the colors *-* Also you did a great job with the pose.

But for me the hair seems to lack a bit. It doesn't look that "fluffy" as real hair does. It looks a little like it's glued on the left. You should try to fix that ^-^

The shading is awsome but maybe you should do the hading a little lighter ? Sometimes it seems a little to hard for me.
But maybe it would be softer if you'd blend the shadows a little more.

All in all it's an awsome deviantation and I like it a lot <3
