Description
Sidorio from Justin Somper's Vampiratres Series, specifically at the end of Tide of Terror and also my entry for #TheNocturnals July Prompt: Fire.
I'm debating doing another picture of Sid, I liked how this turned out but I didn't spend a lot of time on it (deadlines!) and I think I'd like to add more details and possibly try different types of lighting.

Took me a little bit to see this as a vampire as the fires doesn't actually match the vampire essence. But it gives it a kinda monstrous and evil look.
I think the fires are perfect! They glow as they should and they look both realistic and cartoonic. Perfect for this kind of art.
The anatomy on this is a little off... It's a bit too crooked and not identical enough. No body is completely identical, that is true, but waste muscles and arm lengths should still match up.
On shading it's good, however, it's a little too flat. Especially on the black cloths. A hint at shading dark colours is to give them a lighter hue of the colour you want and then dark out the parts covered by a shadow casting object and light up the parts where it rounds up around the edges. Another thing to remember is that the fires would cast light at the person. Even when it is a Vampire. So it would look a lot better with some yellow and orange glow around the edges of the character with stronger hue at the bottom where it's closer to the flames.
This is my personal favourite of your arts that is open to critiques and I think you've improved since earlier pictures I've seen on your gallery. Well done again on the fire and using a non-Twilight vampire (Especially the last part). Keep on drawing arts like this <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/>
